My recent experience with Kindle Scout got me to thinking about a few things. One of those was how blurred the line between Traditional and Independent Publishing has become.
By definition, it is impossible for there to be one single novel that could be considered The Great American Novel. Such a book is considered one of high literary merit that shows the culture and ideology of our country in a specific place and time.
